2. What is HRST ?? HIV risk screening tool is a tool, having a set of questions , used to identify clients with specific risks for HIV . HRST helps to determine a client’s HIV risk and whether the client is eligible for HIV testing or not based on the below category: Client’s HIV status (is the client a known HIV positive case or not ?) HIV risk behavior (practicing unprotected sex , having multiple sexual partners, etc.) Clinical signs or symptoms of HIV Occupational risk

3. Benefits of Using HIV Risk Screening Tool ?? HRST used to; HRST reduces over testing Improves case finding and subsequently increase yield. Maximize HIV case detection Increase efficient utilization of limited resources including RTKs.

4. where did HRST applied ?? HRST can be applied at all service delivery points with the exception for the first ANC/labor/post- partum visit .
