4. P arallel is two or more things that are equal. In grammar, parallel structure means the same pattern or form of words,phrases , or sentences to show equality or similarity.

5. Parallel Structure - means using the same construction for sentence elements that are the same in function. Parallel structures also known as parallelism, for this is use to create balance and clarity in a sentence.

6. 1. I like reading books, writing stories, and studying grammar. (“ reading, writing, and studying” are all verbs in the same form.) 2. She is a talented singer , songwriter, and musician. (“ singer, songwriter, and musician” are all nouns in the same form.)

7. 3. I like swimming, dancing, and singing. (“ swimming, dancing, and singing” all in the same verb form) 4. She is smart, kind, and helpful. ( all adjectives are in the same form)
