Simulation in nursing is an innovative teaching and learning strategy that allows nursing students and professionals to practice clinical skills in a safe, controlled, and realistic environment. It bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-life patient care by providing hands-on experiences without risking patient safety. Simulation can be carried out using mannequins, virtual reality, role-playing, or computer-based programs, and it enables nurses to develop critical thinking, decision-making, communication, and technical skills. This method also helps learners gain confidence and competence before entering actual clinical settings. With the growing complexity of healthcare and the need for highly skilled nurses, simulation has become an essential part of modern nursing education and training worldwide.
