www.jtm.gov.my Be Inspired, Be Extraordinary, Be World Class with TVET JABATAN TENAGA MANUSIA Graphic organizer guides the learner’s thinking as they fill in and build upon a visual map or diagram INTRODUCTORY 2.2.1 Definition Graphic Organizer is the method of listing the idea or main frame of each information so that it is easy to be understood. A graphic organizer is a visual and graphic display that depicts the relationships between facts, terms, and/or ideas within a learning task. Graphic organizers are also sometimes referred to as knowledge maps, concept maps, story maps, cognitive organizers, advance organizers, or concept diagrams.

It can help you to classify ideas and communicate more effectively. Use graphic organizers to structure writing projects, to help in problem solving, decision making, studying, planning research and brainstorming.

Example of Graphic Organizers: Outline - An outline is the form of notes presented in a linear style. It contains headings, sub-headings, and example presented in a text. Start by writing the title of the subject 2. Draw line out from the title to the other subheadings 3. Facilitate memory recall by using different shapes and colors 4.
