3. Objectives To understand their workflow. To understand how AMCs invest people’s money in various industries. To comprehend their goods and services. To experience the working environment in the AMC. To interact with actual industry professionals.

4. Introduction It was organised by the Bengal Institute of Business Studies for the MBA (Finance ) 1st semester in order to enhance their practical knowledge regarding the Mutual Fund industry. On 13/10/2023, we initiated our visit to the AMC at 11:00 am and reached 29, Netaji Subhas Rd, Fairley Place, B.B.D. Bagh, Kolkata, West Bengal 700001 at 12.00 pm. After getting an initial briefing from the Branch Manager at 12.22 pm, we meet various other officials from various departments. It was organized as a part of the academic curriculum to have a visit to the financial institution so that students can have a practical perspective on the working of the financial world.

WHAT IS MUTUAL FUND A mutual fund is a professionally managed investment vehicle that pools money from multiple investors to invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks, bonds, or other securities. Investors buy shares in the mutual fund, and the fund's performance is based on the performance of its underlying investments. Mutual funds are often managed by investment professionals and offer investors a way to access diversified portfolios without needing to individually select and manage securities.

6. Company Profile UTI AMC is the 8th largest Asset Management Company in India. It is one of the oldest and most profitable Mutual Funds houses. UTI AMC is an Indian asset management company founded in 14 January, 2003 . UTI AMC's corporate headquarters are in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

9. CONCLUSION Industry visit are a value-added learning method for professional students The visit helped us to gain practical experience of how the industry work proceeds and is executed. It increases the opportunities for internships, placement, etc. for students. Therefore, industry visits are an excellent way to gain the maximum amount of practical and technical knowledge on our area of interest.
