4. Auvard weighted vaginal speculum It is a single ended vaginal speculum. Commonly used in obstetricts and gynaecology procedures like vaginal hysterectomy, D&C. It comes with weight, which helps in keeping the vagina open, so that gynaecologists can work with both hands.

7. Metzenbaum scissors Used for cutting delicate tissue and blunt dissection. Blades can be curved or straight or curved. Tips are usually blunt. Most common type of scissor used in organ operations.

12. Lahey`s forcep Also known as spincer -wells forcep Commonly used for clamping blood vessels before cauterization. Ratchets are present. Horizental serations on entire jaw. Similar to crile forcep but with shorter jaws. Used in lapratomy,thyroid and vaginohysterectomy procedures

13. Braun tenaculum forceps Used to manipulate the cervix uterus and certain blood vessels precisely, during gynaecological procedures like LSCS, hysterectomy,myomectomy , tubal ligation,cervical tear repair. Ratchers are present. Length 26 cms also available in 16 cms . 4 × 4 teeth
