Adventure travel  is a type of  niche tourism, involving exploration or travel with a certain degree of risk (real or perceived), and which may require special skills and physical exertion. Adventure tourists may have the motivation to achieve mental states characterized as rush or flow, resulting from stepping outside their comfort zone. 25. CAVE DIVING Cave diving   is underwater  diving  in water-filled caves . ... Recreational  cave diving   is generally considered to be a type of technical  diving  due to the lack of a free surface during large parts of the  dive , and often involves decompression. Destination-the north eastern state of Meghalaya ,The Jaintia hills are home to the Krem Kotsati-Umlawan cave, at 21km (approx.) the longest such in mainland Asia.

27. ICE DIVING Ice diving  is a type of penetration  diving  where the dive  takes place under  ice . Because  diving  under ice  places the  diver  in an overhead environment typically with only a single entry/exit point, it requires special procedures and equipment.

Although most  wreck dive sites are at  shipwrecks , there is an increasing trend to scuttle retired ships to create artificial reef sites.
