Weathering course Protection of top surface of R.C.C. slab from rain and heat MATERIALS REQUIRED: Sand Hematite light weight aggregate Aerocon light weight aggregate surkhi Lime Clay tiles Water

Preparation:(brick jelly concrete) Lime+surkhi+sand+other materials(kadukkai,jaggery)+water lime mortar brick jelly concrete

Procedure: Laying procedure: Lined and marked Brick jelly concrete is laid in a thickness of 7.5cm to 12.5cm concrete is laid in a proper slope of 1 in 60 to 1 in 1000 Beating methods: Rammed with wooden rammers wooden beaters is used until it sets upto 7 days Finished with clay tiles

Waterproofing: Designed to prevent water from penetrating a building waterproofing chemicals bitumen with a filler component base products such as polyesters, fiber glass,rag fber becomes saturated by tar,creating a waterproofing material Materials used: cement sand metal brick bat waterproofing chemicals : chlorides,sulphates,epoxy resins,acrylic based products

waterproofing in various parts of building: wc,bathrooms,terrace,roofs and chejjas,basement,swimming pools, underground ducts,overhead water tanks
