1. Railway Health Unit Dharmavaram “WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY” Venue: HU/DMM. Dated On: 17/05/2024

Health Awareness Programme on the occassion of World Hypertension Day conducted at Health Unit, Dharmavaram on 17.05.2024 In view of “World Hypertension Day”, A health awareness programme was organized at HU/DMM. This programme was led by Dr.G.Gayathri DMO/HU/DMM , started with awareness speech regarding “Hypertension” its Itiology & Risk factors, Treatment, Prevention , explained about the life style modifications to prevent Hypertension in our day to day life, Diet & Importance of Regular Use of Medicines were explained. Clarified the doubts aroused by the employees gathered. Later screening programme for Hypertension to crowd gathered is done Around 2 0 members gathered and the programme was a grand success

3. STATISTICS TOTAL NO OF EMPLOYEES ATTENDED 21 NO OF EMPLOYEES HAVING HYPERTENSION 08 NO OF EMPLOYEES DETECTED WITH NEW HYPERTENSION 02 * Newly detected cases were advised to do diet restrictions and come for a recheck up after one week.
