I. Formation of Children/Adolescents
Groups/Associations
What is ChildrensGroup
A group of Children/Adolescents in a village/hamlets
mobilized to come together to form their own
association having some standard norms and
principles
Process
In the beginning we play, dance, have fun together for
some days and slowly facilitate the association
building process.
Structure
A leaders/convener selected/elected with a core
committee members/Ministers having specific
responsibility like Education, Health, Sports etc.
Function
Facilitate to meet in every Sunday/holidays to discuss
and make plans

2.GPDP –Gram Panchayat Development Plan: Provision for a
special Gram Sabha by Panchayat for children to seek their
feedback.
3.Advika:The programme enables all adolescents to exercise their
rights and make informed choices for an empowered future.
4.Children Cabinet/Meena Manch: School facilitate the process
5.Village Child Protection Committee (CVPC): Everyvillageshall
have aChild Protection Committeetoaddress various issues
related to children.
6.UNCRC Alternative Report: Few children represent in UNO and
speak their country status
