Setting SMART Goals If goals aren’t reachable , they aren’t worth making. All you must do is to set realistic goals by following the SMART goals guidelines.

Why do we need to set Goal? Goal setting is an important method of: Deciding what’s important for you to achieve. Motivating yourself to be better. Building self-confidence. We have to be SMART in setting our goal.

Realistic

Set goals with enough details to know what success look like “I want to be a better student.” “I want to respect my teacher by not speaking when she/he is talking.” WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?

Make sure that your goal is trackable “I want to write boomerang book faster.” “I want to finish writing my boomerang book in 10 minutes.” HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’VE REACHED IT?

Work towards a goal that is challenging but possible “I want to be a doctor.” “I want to spend 30 minutes a day to read Science books because I want to be a doctor.” IS IT IN YOUR POWER TO ACCOMPLISH IT?

Make goals that you can really do “My goal is to stop corruption in Indonesia.” “My goal is to study IPS and read news once a week so I can be a politician.” CAN YOU REALISTICALLY ACHIEVE IT? Realistic

Make sure that you have a time set as a “ deadline ”, so your goal is not unending “My goal is to be on time.” “My goal is to attend meeting on time during home-based learning.” WHEN EXACTLY DO YOU WANT TO ACCOMPLISH IT?

Write down your goals and look at them often! If you achieved your goals too easily, make your next goals harder. Keep praying, because all our plans will be useless if God doesn’t allow them to happen. It’s okay if you can’t achieve your goals, except… You are not trying your best. You don’t learn something from your mistakes. TO SET SMART GOALS FINAL
