Introduction A portable solar phone charger is a compact device that converts sunlight into electrical energy to charge mobile phones. It provides a sustainable and eco-friendly way to power devices, especially in areas without electricity or during outdoor travel.

Problem Statement In many rural areas or outdoor environments, access to electricity for charging devices is limited. Frequent power cuts and travel situations make it difficult to keep phones charged, leading to communication gaps and inconvenience.

Design Thinking Process 1. Empathize – Understand the user's need for mobile charging in remote or outdoor areas. 2. Define – Create a solution that provides portable, renewable power. 3. Ideate – Use solar energy and compact design. 4. Prototype – Build a working charger using solar panel, battery, and USB port. 5. Test – Check charging speed, portability, and reliability.

Proposed Solution Our solution is a lightweight, portable solar-powered phone charger that can charge smartphones using renewable energy. The system consists of a small solar panel connected to a rechargeable battery and USB output port. It stores solar energy during the day for use anytime.

Components Used - Solar Panel (5V–6V) - Rechargeable Battery (Lithium-ion) - Charge Controller - USB Output Module - Connecting Wires - Casing/Box

Working & Circuit Diagram 1. Solar panel absorbs sunlight and converts it into electricity. 2. Charge controller regulates voltage and charges the battery safely. 3. The stored energy powers a USB port for charging mobile devices.

Advantages & Applications Advantages: - Renewable and eco-friendly energy source. - Portable and cost-effective. - Useful during emergencies and travel. Applications: - Rural areas, outdoor camps, remote locations, and disaster zones.

Future Improvements - Add dual USB ports for multiple device charging. - Integrate fast charging technology. - Include an indicator for battery and solar levels. - Make it water-resistant and more compact.
