In the past the central region is an important trading center of
Thailand. There are trade contacts with various foreigners. Even
desserts containing eggs and flour have been passed down from
the West as well. Thai cuisine that are known today influenced by
the taste and cooking method of royal cuisine and has more
complex cooking method than other regions.

Summary of surveys and Questionnaires
From the table, it was found that the respondents know Tom Yum Kung,
Shrimp Paste Fried Rice, Sour soup with mixed vegetables, Green curry,
Tom Kha Gai, Kung Liang curry, Shrimp Paste Chili Paste are forty-one
people, representing one hundred percent, know PanangBeef is forty people,
representing ninety-eight percent, know Massaman curry is
thirty-nine people, representing ninety-five percent, know Tephocurry
is thirty-five people, representing eighty-five percent.
From the study of 10 food in the central region, the researcher conducted
a survey and a questionnaire on the knowledge about food in the central
region for 41 students in Grade 4/2,There 41 respondents knew about
Tom Yum Kung, Shrimp Paste Fried Rice, Sour soup with mixed vegetables,
Green Curry, Tom Kha Gai, Kung Liang curry, and Shrimp Paste Chili Paste
recognized 100%, known as PanangBeef 98%,
known as Massaman Curry 95%, known TephoCurry 85%
