4. Educational Research Terminologies part 125 ❖ Sampling Bias: Distortions that occur when some members of a population are systematically excluded from the sample selection process. For example, if interviews are conducted over the phone, only individuals with telephones will be in the sample. This could produce bias if the researcher intends to draw conclusions about the entire population, including those with a phone and those without a phone. ❖ पूर्वदूषित नमुना निवड : जेव्हा लोकसंख्येतील काही सदस्यांना नमुना निवड प्रक्रियेतून पद्धतशीरपणे वगळले जाते तेव्हा विकृती निर्माण होते. उदाहरणार्थ, फोनवर मुलाखती घेतल्या गेल्यास, फक्त टेलिफोन असलेल्या व्यक्तीच नमुन्यामध्ये असतील. जर संशोधकाचा फोन असलेल्या आणि फोन नसलेल्या लोकांसह संपूर्ण लोकसंख्येबद्दल निष्कर्ष काढायचा असेल तर हे पूर्वाग्रह निर्माण करू शकते.
