CITY FIRST
S
hedding light on the water crisis of Rajasthan, the film ‘Turtle’ will
have its World Televi-
sion Premiere on Janu-
ary 20. The Producer of the film, Ashok Choud-
hary, who won the Na- tional Award at the 66th President’s Awards cer-
emony for the first time in the history of Ra-
jasthani language films, says the film is a fiction-
al adaptation of a real incident of the water crisis brewing in the
villages of Rajasthan. He added that this type of film is extremely necessary so that awareness can be spread about the water crisis. The film points to the third world war over the wa-
ter crisis.
Choudhary further
informed that due to
the Covid-19 pandemic,
this film could not
be released in cin-
ema houses. How-
ever, the film was
released on the OTT
platform in 190 coun- tries on December 31,
2021, and people have greatly appreciated the film. Its world televi-
sion premiere will take place on 20 and 21 Janu- ary. The film will also give an impetus to Ra- jasthan’s art, culture and tourism.
