Presentation Summary Key Takeaways A review of key points from the recent training program. Expectations vs Reality An analysis of the gap between expectations and actual outcomes from the training. Suggestions for Improvement Recommendations for enhancing the training program. Trainer Feedback Insights and observations from the trainer on the overall training effectiveness.

The RBP System is a key feature that allows organizations to define access and control systems over various modules based on the roles RBP ensures that only the authorized personnel can access sensitive data. RBP minimizes the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive information. This is especially important for complying with data protection regulations In SAP –SF we can create a custom workflow where a proxy (another employee) can approve or reject requests on behalf of the user, based on defined criteria. This may affect employees accessing the system from outside the office network. Knowledge Based Articles are quick access to solutions for common issues, reducing the need for support tickets. Users can troubleshoot problems themselves by referring to these articles . It gives Up-to-Date Solutions, like SAP regularly updates KBAs to reflect the latest patches, updates, or system changes . 1. Proxy Settings 2. The Role Based Permission-RBP 3. The KBAs 1. Key Learnings and take away

Example-The Role Based Permission-RBP Connecting the Dots.. The Challenges of Previous HRMS (In my previous Org) My previous HR system presented significant challenges in terms of security and data management. We faced limitations in implementing role-based permissions, which resulted in potential security risks and inefficient workflows. Limited Scope for Role-Based Permissions For example, HR personnel had access to sensitive payroll data, even when it was not necessary for their role. This created a potential security risk, as managers or HR staff who weren't authorized could access confidential information. **This could lead to data breaches and compromise the privacy and security of employee information.

The Importance of Restricting Access 1 Protecting sensitive information It's crucial to ensure only authorized personnel have access to confidential data. 2 Enhancing data integrity Restricting access helps maintain data integrity and prevent unauthorized modifications. 3 Improving compliance Implementing a robust role-based permission system helps meet regulatory requirements.

Example-The Role Based Permission-RBP Addressing Our Security Concerns through SAP-SF HR Teams Access to payroll and confidential employee information. Managers Access to performance reviews, leave requests, and employee performance data. General Employees Limited access to personal information and system functionalities. Enhanced Security - RBP ensures that only authorized personnel can access sensitive data. For instance, HR teams may have access to payroll data, while other employees (like managers) may only access performance reviews or leave records. Data Protection By limiting data visibility to specific roles, the organization can minimize the risk of unauthorized access to confidential information. This is especially important for complying with data protection regulations

Expectations The training would be more classroom-based. More of a case study-based approach. Practical sessions practicing in an instance. Reality The training has focused on clearing the fundamentals of SAP SuccessFactors. Going through simulations provides a window view of real-time practices. 2. Expectations vs Reality

3. Suggestions for Improvement . More Classroom sessions over virtual sessions I would appreciate more in-person, classroom-based sessions rather than virtual ones, as they allow for better interaction and deeper understanding. To be more case studies oriented- Adding more practical exercises and case studies to apply learned concepts to real-world situations More brain storming sessions Increasing the number of brainstorming sessions would encourage collaborative thinking, allowing participants to solve real-life problems together and enhance the learning process.

4. Trainer Feedback The trainer has been very supportive in clearing our doubts, no matter how basic they might seem, ensuring a comfortable learning environment. We had only one classroom session attended which was based on case study scenarios, which was really productive in the last 7 days of total training Providing more opportunities to we trainees to receive constructive feedback from the trainer to improve our performance.
