Question 10 What is the practical application of this verse?

We must engage the Bible four or more times a week—receiving God’s Word, reflecting on God’s Word, responding to God’s Word. For one thing, when we’re engaged in it, the growth we experience builds a protective factor within us. Specifically, for example, we’re less likely to take part in negative and soul-robbing behaviors, like viewing pornography, abusing drugs, giving in to drunkenness, and engaging in sex outside of marriage.
