The ISBT has its entry from Chandpole road and exit towards the railway station road. At present, Inter state, RSRTC operate from Sindhi Camp ISBT. The bus movement is anti clockwise, entry from Chandpole and exit from Railway Station because of the reason that the road towards Railway Station is one way. Presently there are four active bus bays, multilevel parking for visitors and admin block. INTRODUCTION Chennai city has A vast network of roads that helps in easy mobility in the city. There are as many as five national highways that leads to the adjacent cities like kolkata , bangalore , trichy ( tiruchirapalli ), pondicherry and tiruvallur . There are two bus services, inter city and inter state which are also known by the names tiruvallur transport corporation and J.J.Transport corporation. For long distances there are two main stands in the george town called express bus stand and broadway . The inter city bus station called chennai mofussil bus terminus (CMBT) has the distinction of being the largest in the whole south asian region. It Is Well Functioning In Transportation System Of The Metro City Chennai, To Understand The Complexity Of The Bus Terminus, It Is Require To Study The Right Approach For Design Of A Terminal, So CMBT Is A Good Prototype For The Study.
