2. Objectives: Identify and appreciate the different styles of Filipino artist when they create portraits and still life (different lines and color)

3. Drawing is the art of making images on a surface, like paper, by using a pencil, pen, or crayon.

4. Group or family drawing is done when you make a drawing of two or more persons.

5. Still-life painting is a drawing of fruits, flowers, vases, plants, and animals. It is not like an ordinary drawing because it is carefully planned. Art elements and art principles are especially considered.

6. Did you know that ……… Sometimes, artists draw something they know and love. Sometimes they draw objects, events, or places they remember or imagine. But most of the time, artists help us see and understand the wonder and beauty of the world.

7. Elements of Arts What are the different lines used in Art? Lines are important in drawing. They can make the drawing of people, plants, and fruits attractive. Artist have to make use of lines to make their drawing of shapes interesting.

8. There are lines that move up and down . There are lines that move from left to right.

9. There are lines that are slant. There are lines that are formed from a combination of diagonal lines.

10. Look around and draw the face of your classmate.

11. Remember: In drawing the human face using make it realisticusing different shapes, lines and texture .

12. Specify the name of the shapes and lines drawn. Display the drawn faces.
