INTRODUCTION TO AIML WHAT IS AIML : It refers artificial intelligence and machine learning WHAT IS AI : Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn like humans. Learning, Reasoning, WHAT IS ML : Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that focuses on the development of algorithms and models that allow computers to learn from and make decisions or predictions based on data. 4

Objective : Nowadays the driver safety in the car is one of the most wanted system to avoid accidents. Our objective of the project is to ensure the safety system. For enhancing the safety, we are detecting the eye blinks of the driver and estimating the driver status . 5

INTRODUCTION TO DROWSINEES DETECTION Drivers drowsiness has been one of the major cause of severe physical injuries, deaths and economic losses. In such cases there should be a reliable detection system that can avoid happening of such dangerous attacks. 6

PROJECT Drowsiness eye detection is a specific application within the broader field of drowsiness detection systems, focusing on monitoring and analyzing the eyes' behavior to assess an individual's alertness level. Here’s how drowsiness eye detection typically works: Eye Tracking and Monitoring : Specialized cameras or infrared sensors are used to track and monitor the driver's or operator's eyes continuously. These sensors capture data such as eye movement, blink frequency, and eyelid closure patterns. Feature Extraction : From the captured eye data, various features are extracted to characterize the state of the eyes and infer the level of drowsiness. Key features include: Blink Rate : Changes in the frequency and duration of blinks can indicate drowsiness. Typically, as a person becomes more drowsy, the blink rate decreases. 07

PROJECT Eye Closure Duration : Longer durations of closed eyelids or slow eyelid movements can signify drowsiness or fatigue. Pupil Size and Movements : Variations in pupil size and irregular pupil movements can also be indicative of drowsiness. 08

ADVANTAGES can be implemented at very low cost • It provides high efficiency • This system can be implemented in any vehicle • Low power consumption i.e. it requires very less power to be operated • Economic losses due to crashing of vehicles can be avoided through this system • Major road accidents and severe injuries can be prevented through this system 11

CONCLUSION In review this internship has been an excellent and rewarding experience. I can honestly say that my time spent interning with “ Inventeron ” is very good for me. After complete my industrial training, I had been exposed to programmer working life. Throughout my internship, I could understand more about the programmer and prepare myself to become a responsible programmer in future. If I got chance to work with “ i nventeron ” in future this is good opportunity for me to build my career.
