It is essential to understand, in addition to the basic criteria, when it is appropriate and when it is not; Both doctors and the health team must balance the possibility of saving or prolonging the patient's life but guaranteeing quality of life and respect for the preferences of the patient and his family, said this because of their autonomy, it must be taken as a principle his charity and not maleficence

RESEARCH QUESTION From the bioethical-medical field, is cardiopulmonary brain resuscitation incontraindicated in patients with terminal-stage cancer?

SIGNS OF IMMINENT DEATH Death from cancer occurs after a person has become weaker and more tired over several weeks or months. It is not always possible to predict how long a person will live. But some common signs and symptoms indicate that the person is entering the final weeks and days of life. Knowing what to expect helps alleviate anxiety and allows for better planning. Raúl J. Gazmuri , (2017) The end of life is a time of transition when people with cancer and their loved ones face many physical, emotional, and spiritual changes. It is important that people with cancer and their loved ones have information and support to make decisions about treatment and end of life care. People with cancer and their loved ones can find support at: The patient's healthcare team. The social services of the hospital or clinic. Cancer support organizations. Support groups for people with cancer and their loved ones.
TERMINALITY Terminality is a state of health in which death is imminent and cannot be avoided. In general, a person is considered to be terminally ill when they have a life expectancy of less than six months. Amado, José, & Oscanoa , Teodoro. (2020). Diagnostic criteria for terminality include: Physical symptoms Weight loss Weakness and fatigue Psychological symptoms Inability to care for oneself or lack of social support. Support groups for people with cancer and their loved ones.

Palliative care can help patients manage symptoms, relieve pain and suffering, and live their final days with dignity and comfort. Palliative care may be provided by a team of health professionals, which may include doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and therapists.
CLINICAL DETERIORATION El color de texto a usar sobre los fondos blancos es: gris oscuro, este color no se debe cambiar CLINICAL DETERIORATION The recognition of clinical deterioration is based on the identification of alterations in physiological parameters above predefined threshold values in conjunction with clinical events such as: Altered state of consciousness U se of accessory respiratory muscles Drop in diuresis Respiratory rate <8 or >28 breaths per minute Pulse oximetry <90% Heart rate <40 or >140 beats per minute Systolic blood pressure <80 or >200 mmHg
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure used to save the life of a person who has suffered cardiac arrest. CPR involves performing chest compressions and artificial ventilations to maintain blood flow and oxygen to the brain and the rest of the body. - The analysis of cardiopulmonary resuscitation of a patient with terminal cancer from the 4 principles of bioethics is a complex process that must take into account the particular circumstances of the patient. The goal of the analysis is to determine if CPR is an appropriate option for the patient based on their particular circumstances. If CPR is not an appropriate option, the doctor should talk to the patient and her family about other treatment options, such as palliative care. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation can have associated risks, so it is important for terminal cancer patients and their families to have a conversation with their doctor about CPR so they can make an informed decision about whether or not they want to receive this treatment.
