DAYLIGHT DYNAMICS

Integration of natural ight withthe artificial lighting,
which creates a dynamic and suitable environment for
the students to understand, how light reacts with the
surrounding.

AIM OF DESIGN

Capturing natural ight in spatial sequences remains
the core aim ofthe design,

Spaces that do not havea requirement of the same
quality of natural light should be located on the northern

The spaces should be locate to fulfill the varying
needs for natura light.

CONCEPTUALISATION

Initially the macro zoning was done where the academic
building and Admin building were facing towards the
north so that the users get sufcientdifused light
during work

But the zoning was changed as the blocks where placed
very near tothe water body which would have increased
the humidity inside the building,

Final zonig allows unconstraint movement through and
around the building. Also it increases the landscape area
percentage in the whole site. The buildings placed
according to this zoning creates an open environment
and allows a goad air circulation and light penetration in

ofthe building

oo! air infirates inside and the warm air is sent outside
through the open green space,

FORM DEVELOPMENT

‘Symbol of Peace

=>,

Extruding it to form a 3D mass

‘Substacng a cylindrical void fr the courtyard
‘The space wil be used for plantation,

‘The lines in the symbol divide the mass into sectors
which then forms the spaces for Gym, Yoga hall and
party hall

‘The lines become the entrance and corridors.

“The sector for OAT is made bigger for more accomodation,

It gives a hierarchy of space in the whole composition,
