2. Materials : The materials for the researcher’s device are: (a) two 10 centimeters long PVC pipe For the faucet (60mm) F or the hand water pumps (180mm) (b) granulated activated carbon (c) gummed tape, (d) Rice husk/pulp, (e) Strainer (f) Volcanic sand 

3. Procedure: The researcher used a PVC pipe as the base of the water clarifier. One measuring 60mm for the faucet and 180mm for the water pump. The pipes were cleaned with hot water. The first layer of the device consists of rice hulls which was cleaned with hot water. Next, the researcher strained the volcanic sand to remove the unwanted Particles.  After preparing all the materials, the researcher then assembled the water clarifier device. The researcher measured the raw materials in grams (g). For the faucet the measurements of the raw materials were 5g each and for the water pump the measurements were 20 g each. The strainer that the researcher used is net fabric.
