About New Testament Christian Churches of
America (NTCC)
Evangelical Fellowship

The New Testament Christian Churches of America (NTCC) is a Christ-centered fellowship
dedicated to sharing the truth of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Firmly grounded in the
belief that Scripture is the inspired Word of God, NTCC has grown from its early beginnings into a
worldwide network of churches. Since its founding in 1969, its purpose has remained the same:

to teach the Word of God, baptize new believers, disciple followers of Christ, and equip leaders to
serve in ministry.

Founding and Early Growth

NTCC began in October 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri, when a small group of committed Christians
formed the New Testament Church of God. They desired to spread the life-changing message of
the Bible to others. Over time, the fellowship expanded, and in 1984, it reorganized under the
name New Testament Christian Churches of America. This step reflected both its growing reach
and its broader mission across the United States. From its earliest years, NTCC emphasized
building Bible-based congregations and helping individuals strengthen their walk with God.

A Global Mission

Today, NTCC oversees more than 100 churches across the United States and in other nations.
Its mission is to bring the light of Christ to a world in need of hope. The fellowship continues to
focus on preaching the Gospel, baptizing believers in the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Ghost, and building up faithful disciples. Church planting remains central to its work, ensuring
that both large cities and smaller, more remote areas can hear the message of salvation.

Training Leaders for Tomorrow

NTCC places strong importance on preparing leaders for service. Through its seminary programs,
the fellowship trains future pastors, missionaries, and other church leaders. The programs
combine theological study with practical ministry training, always centered on the authority of
Scripture and the call to Christ-centered living. Graduates are equipped to serve both in local
NTCC congregations and in mission fields worldwide, carrying forward the organization’s
commitment to biblically grounded leadership.

Milestones and Outreach

Throughout its history, NTCC has marked significant milestones, including celebrating its 50th
anniversary in 2019. Over the decades, the fellowship has dedicated itself to serving U.S. military
members and their families. Through chaplaincy and pastoral care, NTCC has supported those in
uniform at home and abroad. Beyond the United States, the fellowship has established missions
in places such as the Philippines and Panama, continuing its work of bringing the Gospel to
communities in need.

Serving Communities Near and Far

NTCC’s efforts extend beyond international missions to include assertive outreach within local
communities. Churches often support initiatives such as food distribution, youth mentoring, and
assistance for families facing difficulties. These efforts reflect the fellowship’s desire to live out the
teachings of Christ in meaningful and practical ways. Within the United States, NTCC
congregations provide worship, fellowship, and spiritual guidance, offering support and
encouragement to people from all walks of life.

Leadership and Governance

The fellowship operates under the guidance of a board of directors, while allowing each local
congregation a degree of independence in managing its affairs. This structure encourages both
unity and flexibility, keeping the mission consistent while meeting the needs of individual
communities. NTCC’s leadership values accountability, biblical integrity, and commitment to its
mission, ensuring that the fellowship remains faithful in its work.

Reaching the Digital Generation

Understanding the importance of connecting with people in today’s world, NTCC has embraced
digital platforms. Through YouTube, Facebook, and X, the fellowship shares sermons,
devotionals, and encouragement with audiences worldwide. By using these tools, NTCC expands
its reach beyond church buildings, making the Gospel accessible to people in their daily lives. This
use of technology supports the church’s mission of spreading the Word in every possible way.
