•TheLunaVasahiwasestablishedbyagovernmentofficial
namedTejpala(VastupalandTejpal)onMarch3,1230.
•TheLunaVasahi’sinscriptiontellsusthatTejpalabuiltthis
templeforthemeritofhiswife,Anupamadevi,andhisson,
Lavanya-simha.
•Thetemplewasnamedforthisson,“Luna”beinga
shortenedversionof“Lavanya”.
•Ittook15yearstoconstruct.
•TheChiefarchitectwas”Shobhandev”
