5. INTRODUCTION Most of the people say that Computer Technology is just a barrier or destruction in every one’s learning. But without their knowledge, computer and internet are very useful that made our lives quite easy and convenient. In this subject, the students can learn how they can use technology to have a better learning.

6. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY Educational Technology is a field involved in applying a complex, integrated process to analyze and solve problems in human learning. It is an integrated set of principles that explain and predict observed events.

7. TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION Technology in Education is the application of technology to any of those processes involved in operating the institutions which house the educational enterprise. It includes the use of audiovisual equipment which is referred to the hardware aspect of the educational technology.

8. Five Domains of Educational Technology Educational Technology needs five domains in order to create an effective instructional materials for the students. These are: the design, development, utilization, evaluation and management.

9. Computer as Information and Communication Technology In this subject, it can help to improve his/her skills in reading and writing just by using computer. The powerful Internet which helps us to gain a lots of information and data.

10. T echnology I ntegration It is the use of technologies to introduce, reinforce supplement and extent skills. The quality of instruction is improved into a high level. It also provides opportunities to instructional issues/problem.

11. HYPERMEDIA Hypermedia is a multimedia. It is a educational computer software where information is shown. It is a sequenced in non-linear manner. Characteristic of hypermedia applications: - Learner control Learner wide range of navigation routes Variety of media

12. Computer as a Tutor Computer can be a tutor in a way that it can be used in facilitate the learning process of the student. Computer also can be a tutor in effect relieving the teacher of many activities in his/her personal role as classroom tutor.

13. Computer as a Teacher Tool The teacher can employ the computer as information tool, constructive tool, co-constructive tool, communication tool and situating tool. The computer can help the teachers and students to focus on more high level cognitive task.

15. There are many reasons why Educational Technology is very important. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 1 and 2 wants the student to know what is the use and how to use the instructional media in relation to educational/ teaching.

The EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 1 has truly paved the way for the learner to become aware, appreciative and equipped to use educational technology tools ranging from traditional to modern educational media. This is focused on introducing, reinforcing, supplementing and extending the knowledge and skills to learners so that they can become exemplary users of educational technology. EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 2 will involve a deeper understanding of the computer as well as hands-on application of computer skills.
