5. OBJECTIVES • Identify color panel in adobe photoshop • Explore color panel features and apply it on an image • Set proper color in image editing

6. Swatches panel Stores colors that you use often and displays a default set of swatches that you can work with. You can add or delete colors from the panel or display different libraries of colors for different projects.

7. Color panel This panel is useful in searching and refining color samples it is also used to to set the foreground (outline) and background colors by dragging the color sliders (color spectrum), clicking inside the color slider or in the color field below. HTML and hexadecimal web colors are also available.

8. Swatches & Color panel We can also extract color from an image using eye dropper tool ( i ) We can also save a color into the swatches collection for further use.

9. Opacity Opacity is the extent to which something blocks light. You can change the opacity of layers, filters, and effects so that more (or less) of the underlying image shows through.

10. COLOR MODE OPTIONS: RGB AND CMYK Its important to bear in my what you are creating your work for. RGB = it is suggested if you will be working for digital and web. CMYK = It is suggested if you will be working artworks for print.
