2. She was born in Madrid,22 of July,1960 . Agatha is a fashion designer , o ne of her country's best-known personalities in the clothing industry.

3. BIOGRAPHY Daughter of Juan Manuel Ruiz de la Prada and Mary Elizabeth of Sentmenat , she studied at the School of Arts and Techniques Barcelona Fashion.

4. RISE TO FAME Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada stepped into the fashion world in 1981 with her first women´s collection in Madrid .  Being a total success, she opened her first studio in Madrid and began to participate in fashion shows there and at Barcelona . 

5. Her commercial success came with her partnership with El Corte Inglés . After conquering the national territory, Agatha started to gain international recognition by means of her fashion shows, in Spain, France, Italy, Colombia, USA,and exhibitions in Tokyo, NYC, Paris, Moscow, among others.

6. In 1991, Agatha has started to license her brand, expanding her family products to include men´s, women´s and children´s fashion, ceramics, toys, shoes, towels , make-up and more.

7. Agatha Ruiz de la Prada exclusive stores are located in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, New York, Oporto and Mallorca, and she is also present in independent distributors in over 140 countries around the world.

8. This year, in occasion of the 30th Anniversary of her first fashion show, she has inaugurated her Foundation in order to preserve her artistic, cultural and intellectual work.

9. She has expanded her range of products from women's clothing to furniture, motorcycle helmets, books, pet accessories, cosmetics, tableware, handbags, jewelry, mobile phones, lamps,between others.

10. PERSONAL LIFE She is married with Pedro Ramirez and they have two children, Tristán and Cósima Ramírez
