2. Agmark It is a quality certification mark. Agricultural Produce (Grading and Marking) Act AGMARK  is a certification mark employed on agricultural products in  India. I t is having its own mark as shown. A product bearing it confirms to a set of standards set by Directorate of Marketing and Inspection , an agency of the  Government of India . (What exactly it is)

3. Quality standards for agricultural commodities are framed based on their intrinsic quality. Standards are being harmonized with international standards keeping in view the WTO requirements. It can be applied on foods like grains, cereals, oils, Milk products, meat products, honey etc Facts

4.  'Ag' to mean agriculture and 'mark' for a certification mark. Central AGMARK Laboratory (CAL ) is  in  Nagpur including some Regional AGMARK Laboratories (RALs)  in 11 nodal cities Mumbai ,  NewDelhi , Chennai , Kolkata, Kanpur, Kochi, Guntur, Amritsar,  Jaipur , Rajkot, Bhopal ) are present.
