It is accessed by the

PIT/SOUND/
LIGHTING PIT
The orchestra pit is
divided into two equal
halves. One half for the
sound controls and
other half for lighting
controls
The orchestral pit has a
provision for 4 people
to regulate the sound
and lights
simultaneously as the
performance is on
going

Since the stage
area has a higher
ceiling than the
rest of the
auditorium, more
absorptive are
required in this
area.
The back wall of
the stage is treated
with Wood Wool
Panels (acoustically
absorptive
material) and is
typicallyblack in
color.

room are covered
with carpets.
Absorptive wall
partitions and
acoustical foam
coverings are
used to dampen
sound energy.
