AI in actie bij het UMC Utrecht: administratielast verminderen in de praktijk

Ontdek hoe het UMC Utrecht de implementatie van AI vormgeeft om echte impact te maken. We laten zien hoe AI structureel is ingebed in de organisatie via een centraal AI-team met als missie om waardevolle AI-oplossingen te ontwikkelen en nog belangrijker te implementeren. We lopen door hoe zo’n team te werk gaat om maximale impact te realiseren, terwijl kwaliteit en veiligheid worden gewaarborgd.


Als concreet voorbeeld bespreken we een project waarmee we recent veel succes hebben geboekt: het automatisch genereren van ontslagbrieven met behulp van taalmodellen. Dit project verlaagt de administratieve last van zorgverleners en is een mooi voorbeeld van hoe AI de zorg kan ondersteunen.

Deze sessie biedt een inspirerende blik op hoe AI ook in jouw organisatie kan worden ingezet en hoe het kan helpen administratieve taken te verlichten.

Kennisnetwerk AI Implementatie in de Zorg
Het kennisnetwerk AI implementatie in de zorg bestaat uit diverse zorg-en
kennisinstellingen die zich richten op het toepassen van AI in de gezondheidszorg. Het
voornaamste doel is het verminderen van versnippering, het stimuleren van
samenwerking en het toegankelijk maken van kennisdeling.
Jaarlijks organiseert het netwerk drie tot vier bijeenkomsten, elk met een specifiek
thema. Elke bijeenkomst wordt gehouden bij een host-instelling die verantwoordelijk is
voor de organisatie, met ondersteuning van het UMC Utrecht.
