2. DEFINITION It is the persistent, irrational fear of CATS. From Greek αἴλουρος ( aílouros ), "cat" and φόβος ( phóbos ), "fear".

3. SYMPTONS CAUSES Excessive sweating Shaking Inability to speak or think clearly Becoming mad Dry mouth Nausea Heart palpitations have frightening experience involving cats the belief that cats are related to evil or black magic transmitted to a child by another person

4. Treatment of ailurophobia Looking at photos of cats Watching videos about cats Viewing a cat through a window Being in the same room as a cat that is restrained on a leash or in a wire cage And finally, being in a room with a free roaming cat Flooding-sudden exposure of the object of phobia(not recommended)
