2. Specifies the method for the measurement of range expressed in km for L, M & N Categories of the electric power train vehicles Scope

3. The driving cycle shall be IDC for all L category Vehicle. Operation Mode Initial Charge of REESS Application of cycle of IDC and measurement of range Distance is measured Initial charge of REESS With the normal overnight charge Charging time should not exceed 12 hours Application of cycle of IDC and measurement of range Discharge while driving is done at a steady speed of 70±5% from the max 30 min speed of the vehicle The discharge is stopped When vehicle is not able to run at 65% of the max 30 min speed After covering a distance of 100km REMARKS
