International companies are actively developing new technologies using space-based manufacturing hubs, inventing cryptographic tools using quantum, and creating autodidactic AI tools. There is also a pipeline shortage of STEM professionals who can obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances to participate in these new industries. He serves on Board of Directors for Andrews Federal Credit Union and as Board Chairman for Legacy Bridges Global STEM Academy, Inc. R etired in July 2023 as the Special Assistant to the Director Air National Guard for the Assistant Secretary of Air Force Energy, Installations, and Environment (SAF/IE), Headquarters Air Force. H e interpreted the Office of the Secretary for Defense guidance for SAF/IE to lead the development of climate policy and action plans for Department of the Air Force. C ommissioned through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.

His current role is Chief, COBRA DANE Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Futures Branch out of Hanscom AFB, MA A USSF liaison to the Department of the Air Force MIT AI Accelerator and MIT Lincoln Lab charging ahead to influence and integrate next-generation AI/ML frameworks and models for Space applications. E ntered the Air Force through the ROTC program in 2013 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Iowa State University, an MBA from Liberty University, and Project Manager Professional certification from PMI. He also serves as the President of BLUF Military Benefits, a military family benefits focused nonprofit to help improve the quality of life for all DoD families.
