R etired in July 2023 as the Special Assistant to the Director Air National Guard for the Assistant Secretary of Air Force Energy, Installations, and Environment (SAF/IE), Headquarters Air Force. H e interpreted the Office of the Secretary for Defense guidance for SAF/IE to lead the development of climate policy and action plans for Department of the Air Force. C ommissioned through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.

His current role is Chief, COBRA DANE Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Futures Branch out of Hanscom AFB, MA A USSF liaison to the Department of the Air Force MIT AI Accelerator and MIT Lincoln Lab charging ahead to influence and integrate next-generation AI/ML frameworks and models for Space applications. E ntered the Air Force through the ROTC program in 2013 where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Iowa State University, an MBA from Liberty University, and Project Manager Professional certification from PMI.
