2. 13 October 1972. Uruguayan Flight 571 carrying a rugby team, friends and family, takes off from Montevideo en route to Santiago, Chile with 40 passengers and 5 crew on board. In thick cloud cover, the plane strikes a peak and crashes. There are 5 dead and 7 missing.

3. The crash occurred because the pilots, using dead reckoning, misjudged their location. They didn’t factor in a strong headwind, and believed they were further west than they were.

4. The Andes Mountains. 29 October 1972. Time Patrol Agent Moms is at altitude in the freezing cold. But others are worse off. Crashed Uruguayan flight 447 is about to face another catastrophe. She has to save the survivors to give mankind hope.

5. This evening, 29 October, the situation will get worse. An avalanche will come down on top of the wreckage, killing more of the survivors and testing their will to the utmost.

6. That’s not enough for the Shadow. It wants the survivors wiped out. So it sends creatures of legend to finish the ordeal.
