🔹 Panini – Ashtadhyayi Sanskrit grammar treatise (~4th century BCE). Systematic and scientific; laid foundation for linguistic studies. Contains nearly 4,000 rules of Sanskrit. p 2

🔹 Patanjali – Mahabhasya Commentary on Panini’s Ashtadhyayi . Written around 2nd century BCE. Major work in grammar and linguistics. p 3

🔹 Harshvardhana – Nagananda p 4 A Sanskrit drama based on the Bodhisattva Jataka. Emphasizes compassion and self-sacrifice.

🔹 Sri Harsha – Naishadhacharita p 5 Epic poem based on the story of Nala and Damayanti from the Mahabharata. Known for rich poetic style.

🔹 Sudraka – Mrichchhakatika p 6 Also known as "The Little Clay Cart." A Sanskrit play with themes of love, politics, and social class. Realistic portrayal of ancient Indian society.
