Remember Whether you are observing vertical or horizontal arrangement and seeing from any side (top, bottom, left & right) Which side you going to see Which side you place ? ? ? ?

Whichever side you see If you place view at same side : Third angle projection If you place view at opposite side : First angle projection Remember

In first angle projection why top view placed at below front view ? Why

Follow the convention Rotate horizontal plane by 90° in clockwise direction for any first angle or third angle
