Q 1
Who are these royal ‘A’ and ‘B’?

Like many other Religious Scriptures, the Epic Mahabharata too has many versions. The Jain
version of Mahabharata is known as ‘Harivamsa Purana’, written by Acharya Jinasena. This
version ‘s story differs from the Veda Vyasa’s Mahabharata at various points, such as all the
main characters following Jain Religion, Draupadi being married only to Arjuna, and not all
the Pandavas etc.
However, another very major difference in the stories is the ‘Kurukshetra War’. While it is
renowned that Pandavas and Kauravas were the two warring sides, in the Jain version, the
war was actually fought between ‘A’ and ‘B’, with the Pandavas being on ‘A’s and the
Kauravas being on ‘B’s side.

‘A’ and ‘B’ also fought several times in the Veda Vyasa’s version too, where A won every time,
but didn’t kill B. In the end, B was actually killed by Bhima, with the help of A. While, in
Harivamsa Purana, A killed B in the ultimate war.

A - Krishna, B - Jarasandha

Q 2
--- ---'s surprising popularity among students in Japan comes from
its Japanese name. This name closely resembles the phrase kitto
katsutoo (きっと勝つとぉ), meaning ‘you shall surely win’. In Japanese,
kitto mean ‘surely’ or ‘certainly’ and katsu means ‘to win’.
For this reason, --- ---s are given to students not just as treats, but as
good luck charms before important exams. In fact, one in three
students in Japan will buy a --- --- in anticipation of entrance
examinations.

- is believed to derive from "Lilith-Abi" (Hebrew for "Lilith, begone").
In some societies the ------- is used to pass down cultural knowledge

of infants' undivided attention, modulation of infants' arousal, and
regulation of behavior.

Based on Cicero's account, a popular story relates that the courtier
Damocles was overjoyed at the chance to trade places with the 4th century
BC tyrant of Syracuse Dionysius the Younger for a day. His happiness was
abruptly ended when he found that a sword had been suspended above
the throne by a single horsehair, indicating the worry of monarchs—
particularly tyrants—over the precariousness of their rule.
Shakespeare's Henry IV expands on this theme with the popular line
"Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown".
What is the famous modern interpretation for this theme, a phrase
popularised across television screens and books alike?

With great power comes great responsibility

Q 7
Ancient and Medival Philosphers considered all matter to be made
up of four elements: Earth, Air,Water and Fire. Later on,the Greek

and his disciples thought that this “fifth essence” permeated all of
creation and thus was purer and even more essential than the four
essences.

Q 1
So you know how words seem to randomly slip into our vocabulary
with no rhyme or reason, the same can be said for X, a term that is
said to be invented by joey tribbiani. The concept has been around for
a while, but that episode certainly helped cement it in pop culture.
While the term didn’t really take off until the 2010s, it actually
originated in a Friends episode way back in 1994.In the episode, ‘The
One With The Blackout’, Joey informs Ross that when it comes to
Ross’s crush on Rachel, it’s, “never gonna happen.”
He goes on to say: You and Rachel. You waited too long to make your
move and now you’re in the X.
Id the term X

Q 2
In the 1980s, the demographer Ashish Bose, coined an acronym to
refer to a special group of states in the Hindi Belt. The rather
derogatory term has been used to refer to the sick situation of these
states, whose names make the word, in terms of Human Development,
Growth, food security etc.
The term though was used in 1980s and is considered outdated in
current time, due to the steady progress made even by these states in
last 4 decades. But still, if we look at the situations of these Hindi states,
especially in comparison to other states, they still fall in line with this
derogatory acronym.
What is this pun acronym?

Q 3
X, a 5x NBA champion, played alongside the likes of Scottie Pippen, was one of
the most prominent athletes of the 90’s to publicly turn the image of the
hyper-masculine athlete on its head, although it was always cause for debate
whether he was being authentically himself or just seeking publicity.
X’s most famous incident of gender nonconformity was wearing a wedding
dress to a book signing in New York as a publicity stunt to plug his
autobiography. This was an instance of him living his truth and that truth was
“I’ll wear anything to get you to spend $24.95.
He was also openly an ally towards the LGBTQ+ community in a time when
having such sentiments was looked down upon as compared to today’s world.
Identify the NBA superstar

Lee, and Stephen Wang. As a fan of Jackie Chan, Duong was inspired to
create the website after collecting all the reviews of Chan's Hong Kong
action movies as they were being released in the United States. Allthough
the name of the company/website connects to a particular practice of
audiences when disapproving of a poor stage performance, the original
inspiration comes from a scene featuring -------(Y) in the Canadian film
Léolo (1992).
Just give the name of the company (XY)

Q 2
Einstein Field Equations occupies the most prominent place in the fields of Physics,
that totally changed our understanding of the World and space. From time dilation
to time travel, the applications are endless.
The equations have also led to development of the idea of various possible objects in
space. Two of such objects are 'A' and 'B'. Where on one hand, 'A' remains one of the
most fascinating, and also little 'frightening' object for Astronomy lovers, which was
first captured in a photo just a few years back, the object 'B' on the other hand, still
remains in theory, and has not been discovered yet.
These two unicolour objects are totally in contrast to each other in terms of
properties, together though, they are hypothesised to act as the two ends of another
hypothetical route 'C', which if discovered, could lead to unimaginable inventions
and some expeditions, that have only been shown in films till now.
Identify these same suffixed A,B,C

A- Black Hole, B - White Hole and C- Wormhole

Q 3
Robert Wilson and Arno Penzias, were two radio astronmoers from USA who
received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1978. They received the Nobel Prize for their
discovery of something that is not from our galaxy. However, their discovery was
first thought as pigeon droppings by them. Robert Wilson and Arno Penzias had
ruled out all reasons why their readings contained a weird static background noise
when they found a couple of pigeons living by the antenna. Suspecting that the
pigeons' droppings, which covered the antenna, disrupted the signals they sent the
pigeons away and cleaned everything up.
But in pigeon's absence, when Wilson and Penzias continued the readings: the static
noise was still there. The reason of the noise, it turned out, wasn't the birds. And the
reason they discovered changed the whole world of physics. It's the first
experimental proof of a famous theory.
What did they discovered or what's this famous theory?

Cosmic microwave background radiation or simply the
radiation left over from the Big Bang

William "Fatty" Foulke was a goalkeeper for Chelsea. As the nickname
implies, he was surprisingly unathletic by professional football
standards, and was extremely lazy as well.
Chelsea noticed that fans would come just to see him, as a sort of
spectacle, so they decided to highlight his size by having two (or
sometimes more) _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ stand behind the goal, which made
him look even bigger.
In resulting set pieces, Foulke would make no effort to restart play,
and as a result, Chelsea’s decision to place the two _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ paid
off in more ways than one.
