With over 25 years of experience in the 
restaurant and hospitality industry and a 
proven track record in operations and 
business development, Samir is a force 
to be reckoned with. 
Samir’s knowledge starts from the floor 
up where he worked at George V and 
Royal Moncrea in Paris before moving 
on to restaurant and bar management in 
Paris, London, the Middle East, 
Barcelona and Hong Kong. 
His career has seen him work on some 
of the world’s much loved concepts 
from inception where his business 
focus, operational knowledge and 
creative input have been invaluable to 
the likes of Mourad Mazouz (Sketch, 
Memo, Derriere) and Serge Backer 
(Miss Lilys, The Box) amongst others. 
It’s very rare to work with someone who 
is both business and finance savvy as 
well as having a creative mind, but this 
is exactly what you get when working 
with Samir! 
Samir’s brainchild, Ansonia Concepts 
was launched in 2014 from his devotion 
to offer his clients a full service 
experience and to continue his journey 
of delivering distinguished concepts to 
the world. 
With experience spanning 17 years,  Yasmine joined the Anosnia Concepts 
team to head up operations and 
culinary development. 
Having trained at Les Roches Hotel 
Management School Yasmin began her 
career from the ground up at the Grand 
Hotel and Zebra Square Restaurant & 
lounge in Monte Carlo. She then moved 
to the Nightlife Sector as Assistant 
General Manager for MKG directing the 
strategic development and performance 
of Clubs in Lebanon and Jordan.
Yasmin moved to ‘Fine Dining’ in 2005  
as General Manager for Pragma Beirut 
before relocating to Dubai as their F&B 
Group Director where she was key to 
the development of successful 
concepts such as the Cavalli Café, 
Cavalli Club Restaurant & Lounge, Bo 
House, Health Factory and Epicure 
Catering.
More recently Yasmin was Culinary & 
Brand Operations Director for the 
Crystal Group where she developed Em 
Sherif as one of the most successful 
fine dining Lebanese restaurants in 
Dubai.

With a background in marketing and 
communications and a flair for Interior 
design & styling Amie’s number one 
focus is always on connecting the 
elements within a project with the end 
consumer. 
In her early 20’s she acted on her 
entrepreneurial urge and launched her 
own lifestyle concept store making it an 
innovative destination in the UK for 
people wanting a unique product and 
shopping experience. 
Her love of furniture, lighting and 
creative spaces led her into partnership 
with the prestigious Conran Shop and in 
2014 launching Conran Contracts onto 
the ME market. Operated under the 
Ansonia Concepts umbrella, providing a 
tailored specifying and procurement 
service with the largest supplier reach 
on the market and an impressive client 
list to match. 
Now heading up Ansonia’s Design 
Studio, Amie is as dedicated as Samir to 
delivering clever concepts through 
design and functionality.
