Objectives of the study: To gain practical experience in HR and operational activities. To understand the organizational structure and workflow of Nassa Taipei Denim Ltd. To contribute to specific HR functions such as recruitment, training, and employee relations. To develop professional skills relevant to the garment industry.
Activities Undertaken : Assisted in recruitment processes, including screening resumes and coordinating interviews. Participated in employee onboarding and training sessions. Supported payroll processing and attendance management. Worked on employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities. Contributed to maintaining HR records and documentation.
Challenges and Constraints : C hallenges and constraints in HR activities there could include managing a high volume of production staff while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and maintaining workplace safety. Resource constraints, such as limited training programs or inadequate technology, may affect employee skill development and efficiency. Additionally, maintaining communication between different departments or across multiple shifts can be challenging. Addressing these obstacles would require strategic planning, investment in employee training, and streamlined processes to ensure smooth HR operations.
Lessons Learned From the Internship Program: Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: The internship presented me with numerous challenges and situations that demanded quick thinking and effective decision-making. Learnt time management : I enter office at 9 am and wrapped up at 4 pm. It makes me how to maintain the time in real life. Career Decision: The Internship has motivated me to choose Banking as a career if I get the opportunity. It is because I liked the professional environment of the bank.
