ARRANGE AND DATA MANAGEMENT IN MS EXCEL DAY 2 WEEK 1 Q2
LEARNING OBJECTIVES 2 Encode given data correctly in MS Excel. Apply sorting and filtering to organize data. Use basic formatting tools to make the spreadsheet clear and presentable. Explain the importance of arranging and managing data properly.
ENTERING DATA IN ROW AND COLUMNS 3 Rows run horizontally (left to right) and are numbered (1, 2, 3…). Columns run vertically (up and down) and are labeled with letters (A, B, C…).
Sorting Data (Alphabetical and Numerical) 4 Sorting means arranging information in order so it is easier to find patterns.
Filtering Data (Show Only Specific Entries) 5 Filtering allows us to temporarily hide other data and see only what we need. Filtering does not delete data, it only hides what you don’t need temporarily.
Formatting Data (Make It Neat and Presentable) 6 Formatting makes data easier to read and understand.
