2. ARVIND LIMITED We are one. Yet, we are many .

3. Arvind Limited  is a  textile manufacturer  and the  flagship  company of the Lalbhai Group. Its  headquarters  is in  Naroda ,  Ahmedabad ,   Gujarat ,  India . It has units at Santej . Sanjaybhai Lalbhai is the Chairman and Managing Director of Arvind and Lalbhai Group. The fabric made by Arvind can go around the earth 6 times over 2 pieces of apparel are sold by an Arvind managed brand, every second in India. Arvind is the largest fire protection fabric producer in the country. Kasturbhai lalbhai was the founder of the Arvind mills and it was founded in 1931. It is the 4 th largest producer and exporter of denim in the country.

THE ARVIND STORY The Beginning 1931 In response to Mahatma Gandhi’s call for Swadeshi during the struggle for Indian Independence, the Lalbhai family founded Arvind Mills, creating a capacity to compete with the world’s finest textile mills . Textiles to Dye For 1952 After two decades of success in the textile industry, Arvind set up India’s first dye and chemical plant,, in order to reduce the nation’s dependence on imported dyes, and chemicals .

5. Denim takes Wings 1980 Flying Machine, India’s first denim apparel brand, was launched to meet the aspirations of the emerging youth segment. India's first denim manufacturers 1986 Arvind’s – and India’s – first denim manufacturing plant was commissioned at Naroda Road, Ahmedabad. Arvind was soon to emerge as a global leader in denim production. By the end of 1987, Arvind also started manufacturing high-value cotton shirting. Modern Manufacturing envisioned 1996 Modern textile manufacturing units at Santej, near Ahmedabad. Spread over 450 acres and an investment over Rs. 1,000 crores, the plant was designed to produce high-value cotton shirting, bottoms and knitted fabric for international markets.

6. Farm to Retail 2010 The Arvind Store was set up to house the best brands of Arvind under one roof. The store offers not only the entire range of the Company’s fabrics and apparel but also the services of Studio Arvind, the bespoke tailoring unit. There are currently over 180 Arvind Stores across India. Expanding the International Brand Basket 2011 Beginning 2011, Arvind has brought in some of the biggest global fashion brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Ed Hardy, Hanes, Nautica and Elle to India Stretching denim into new areas 2015 Arvind partnered with USA-headquartered Invista, the owner of the Lycra fiber brand, to manufacture stretch denim fabric in India.

We collaborate with village industries on truly hand spun and handloom woven Denim products that help us preserve our heritage crafts and support thousands of livelihoods. Each year Arvind Denim produces over 100 million meters of fabrics and 6 million pairs of jeans.

They produce about 130 million meters of woven fabric annually.   hey deliver creative and high quality fashion concepts in Formal and Casual Shirts, Tops & Dresses, Trousers and Jackets across Color Woven's, Indigo, Solid and Print categories. They are creating seasonal fashion to timeless classics in Jeanswear, sportswear and Formal category for there brand partners. They also make suits for the brand primante whose fabric is sourced from Milan for the urban and affluent Indian customers .. WOVEN They  are one of the largest knit fabric manufacturers in India with a capacity of 12,000 T, and garmenting capacity of ~20mn pieces per annum, growing exponentially. they expertise is ready-to-wear, ethnic wear, and essentials across fabric and garments for men, women and kids. They offer creative and high-end products in cotton, linen, viscose, modal, tencel , polyester. KNIT

10. Voil fabric defines the origin of Arvind in 1931. They produces a wide range of voiles that is highly sought-after by women for ethnic ensembles as well as other applications such as sophisticated furnishings for high-end interiors. Mills weave and process over 50 million meters of fine voiles upto 140’s count each year. voiles are available in pure cotton, and blends such as polyester, modal and Lycra. The product brands such as Chakori, Tip-top, and Padmini are loved by women for their elegance and comfort. With voiles, Arvind reach out to more than 20,000 points of sale, right into the heartlands of India, with a large portion of being the unorganized sector. VOIL

11. Brand And Retail Flying Machine - India It is India's first home bred jeans brand, owned by Arvind mills' garments division. Born in the year 1980. It's really hard to find a fashion conscious male from that time in India who did not wear denims made by us. It is available at a decent price. By 1994 it had become a leader in branded jeans in India and is still seen as trendy and premium.

The Arvind Store aims to create an enriching shopping experience for Men.  The store not only has the entire range of Arvind’s Shirting & Suiting fabrics but also offers super-premium products for the discerning customer. .  To complete the set of offerings The Arvind Store houses the best brands from the house of Arvind like Arrow & US Polo, and now also its Ready To Wear called “Arvind”. The Arvind Store Excalibur Everything produced under Excalibur has personality woven into its very heart, an unswerving energetic approach to producing truly exciting formal wear.

18. Susheel Kaul (CEO, Lifestyle Fabrics – Knits & Woven) Aamir Akhtar (CEO, Lifestyle Fabrics – Denim) Susheel has been working with Arvind, since 1993. He joined Arvind as a mangment trainee after completing PG in textile from IIT, Delhi. His assessments included quality assurance and product development, operations and business process reengineering. A professional with over three decades of experience in textile & apparels and advancedmaterials , he has been with Arvind since 2002. A master in business administration, Reliance industries was one of his previous assignments.

19. TURN OVER “We aren’t just driven by bottom lines and profits, but able and willing to drive social impact” Arvind mills net income is Rs. 318.85 crore (US $44 million) 2016. And its revenue is Rs. 5,407.26 crore (US $750 million) 2016.
