Ligament Healing: Bracing Operative Immobilizer brace (at least 3 days but up to a month) PCL Jack Brace worn at all times (even whilst sleeping) for 24 weeks Non-operative PCL Jack Brace worn at all times (even whilst sleeping) for 12 weeks
Ligament Healing: Hamstring Operative Avoid isolated hamstring exercises until week 16 Non-operative Avoid isolated hamstring exercises until week 12
Thunder Thighs! Quadriceps result in an anterior force supporting the PCL in resisting posterior translation of the tibia
