Setting the scene William Afton Founder of Afton Robotics Father of three children, Michael, Elizabeth and Evan Afton Best friend and business partner of Henry Emily Henry Emelie Founder of Fazebear Entertainment inc Father of one daughter, Charlie Emily Best friend and business partner of William Afton

The beginning The year 1982 William and Henry co-founded the Fazebear Entertainment Inc Opened their first location, Feadbear’s family diner Henry took care of business and shit William designed the robots and suits, particularly the springlock suits Springlock suits were special suits that could be used both as a costume and an animatronic Henry wore a Fredbear springlock costume and William wore a Spring bonnie costume If a suit is old or wet the springlocks might malfunction and crush whoever is inside “Hey Will, wanna open a restaurant chain with me?” “Yeah lol”

5. The bite of ‘83 In 1983 Henry and William expanded the company by opening Freddy Fazebears Pizza William built four new animatronics: Freddy Fazebear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the pirate Meanwhile at Fredbear’s Evan is still deathly afraid of the animatronics Michael takes advantage of this, bullying him by wearing the mask of one of the characters and scaring him This lead up to Evan’s birthday party at Fredbear’s Michael and his douche friends brings Evan over to Fredbear and put him in his mouth The springlock’s inside of the Fredbear jaw gets wet from Evan’s tears and…

Whoopsie Evan doesn’t die from this, he falls into a coma This is where FNAF 4 takes place, in Evan’s coma-induced nightmares At the end of the game we see Evan before death He can hear Michael apologising profusely before his voice fades out William starts talking to him, saying that he will “put him back together” Evan dies in the hospital, but due to being paralyzed by Fredbear, his soul starts to possess the Fredbear animatronic (ish) William eventually finds out about this and oh oh we have a problem

8. Circus baby’s entertainment and rental This is when William created Circus baby’s entertainment and rental, a company that rented out animatronics And this is where William first went downhill He made these animatronics that he rented out, and he was experimenting with these animatronics He was trying to kidnap and kill a child through these animatronics This was to experiment and see how death worked with possession in order to bring Evan back to life The animatronics had these compartments inside of them that were supposed to trap and kill the children It was made so that anytime a child was alone with them in a room, they would kidnap them

9. Circus Baby Circus Baby was the main star of the show, and she specifically was made to count children and make sure that whenever she was alone she would lure the child in with ice cream, only to then scoop them inside of her, trap the child, and kill them

Elizabeth is a scoopfull This is where we re-introduce Elizabeth Afton once again During the time her father worked on the sister location animatronics she gained interest in Circus baby She kept begging her dad to let him go see her, but he refused to since baby was dangerous She sneaks off to see baby without dad She is completely alone with baby and baby opens her chest and offers Elizabeth ice cream

The great Henrilliam divorce Henry, being the other C.E.O of Fazebear Entertainment Inc obviously found out about this incident along with the fact that William was trying to kidnap and kill children in order to find a way to bring Evan back And so, being disgusted with his business partners actions, Henry kicks William out of the company He doesn’t alert authorities about William since they were best friends and Will just lost two of his three children Which like, ouch They cover the whole event up as the location closing due to gas leaks instead of a dead child Which as we will see later, was a mistake What the actual fuck is wrong with you My children are dead, Henry

13. William is not a good father After William was kicked out of the company and lost two of his children he becomes extremely bitter and takes it out on Michael During one of the minigames in Fnaf 6 (yeah there are more than 6 of these games lamo) William is shown to be drunkenly driving home, banging and yelling at Michael’s door. He walks outside to try and get in through the window only to see that Mike has broken and escaped through the window and has escaped and ran somewhere. He proceeds to follow after the tracks to Freddy Fazbears pizzeria and is then asked to leave (since he’s not supposed to be there) We can see that Michael start to resent his father Around this time, Michael also starts to suspect that something more is going on with his siblings deaths Judging from the minigame where Michael has escaped his room to one of the many locations, we can draw the conclusion that Michael starts going to the Fazbear locations in order to figure out what is going on Fuck you dad

15. The first victim After Henry kicked William out of the company, he created a puppet animatronic that worked as a security bot. It was supposed to keep track of all the children to prevent any more potential murders to happen It was mainly supposed to protect Henry’s daughter, Charlie William, having reached some sort of breaking point decides to do to Henry what he did to himself Take away his child William lures Charlie out of the pizzeria once the puppet is preoccupied and kills her in an alleyway The puppet tries to save her but it too late It rushes out in the rain to the alleyway where Charlies dead body lies, the rain starts to tear at its body As Charlie dies, she possess the puppet

This is where the timeline gets fucky We are now definitely in the year 1987 After killing Charlie, William continued his killing spree at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza He dressed up in the bunny suit he used to have when working with Henry, lured five children away from their parents and killed them To cover his tracks he stuffed them all down old animatronic suits that were locked away and not in use This causes an investigation to be held at Fazbear’s Pizza Let’s make one thing clear, We are now at the second game “Five nights at Freddy’s 2”, not the first game

Child murder: Part 2 electric boogaloo However, Charlie, having possessed the puppet, brings life to the dead children and makes them posses the animatronics they were stuffed into This causes the old Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy suit to become possessed by the five children that were murdered Possessed by a child named Gabriel Possessed by a child named Jeremy Possessed by a child named Susie Possessed by a child named Fritz If you’re wondering why they look so busted, it’s because William stuffed the kids down the specifically broken and unused animatronics in the back Notice how I’ve only listed four of the five dead kids I will be getting back to the fifth in due time “Come back to life!!!” “Yippie! We’re not dead”

William is a bastard At this point William has been identified as the killer and has been apprehended, they just need to find the bodies which they can’t because William has hidden them away in the suits Bastard prolly knew they wouldn’t be able to find them because he used to work there They couldn’t arrest William because they couldn’t find the bodies, although pretty much everyone knows he had something to do with it “Wharr I do???? You can’t prove anything ehl oh ehl”

21. The bite of 87 (Whoopsie: Part 4) The nightguard who worked at the Pizzaria throughout FNAF 2, Jeremy, is now told he has one last task before the investigation is over He’s supposed to supervise a birthday party (Also yes, the guard who works there also has the same name as one of the dead children. It’s not the same character. This happens twice because Scott hates us) Unsurprisingly, everything goes to shit During the birthday party, one of the possessed animatronics freaks out and bites the frontal lobe off of Jeremy This is because they think Jeremy is William, they’re just scared and confused kids and can’t see the difference :( This event went down as the bite of 87 This causes the location to be shut down completely However, they take some of the old animatronics from the location and transport them to a new location These are the animatronics that are possessed by the dead children

22. A new (not rly) nightguard appears As you might’ve noticed, Jeremy Fitzgerald was the nightguard for the majority of the second game (6 night’s specifically) and got bit which caused the location to be shut down. But who took his place during the one nightshift BEFORE the birthday party where Jeremy was bitten? A new security guard named Fritz Smith (Once again, yes the same name as the dead child, but not the same character) This new guy is of course immediately fired cause the place closes down However, this guy isn’t all that he seems… The new guy is actually Michael working under an alias He’s working there in order to get more info on what happened to his siblings

23. Fnaf 1 The new location that’s opened is called Freddy Fazebears Pizzeria This pizzeria uses the old worn down animatronics from fnaf 2, but they have been fixed up and now they look brand new (But also they still defo have dead children possessing them.) Look at this yassification

24. Fredbear/Golden Freddy This is where we get back to the mysterious fifth child I alluded to earlier The fifth child that William murdered was a young girl names Cassidy. This child was not stuffed into one of the animatronics, but rather one of the springlock suits. Specifically Henry’s Fredbear suit. William probably got access to it the same way he had access to the Spring Bonnie suit Now you must be thinking “Wait a minute! How can cassidy be possessing Fredbear when Evan was the one possessing the suit?” And the answer is that they BOTH possess the suit What’s worse is the fact that since it’s a suit, they can’t move. They literally just sit on the ground forever. Imagine dying, and then not only do you have an eternal roommate, you also can’t move They go on to possess Fredbear, or what he’s called in the first game: Golden Freddy

25. It’s everyone's (my) favorite boy!!! In fanf 1 we follow Michael who’s now began working full time as a nightguard at the newly opened Freddy Fazebears Pizzeria under the alias of Mike Schmidt (love that name btw) He’s once again working there in order to find out what happened to his siblings and sort of understand just what the hell is going on here This is why he’s constantly going back to a job where murder animatronics try to kill him every night Also a little tragic (and a personal hc of mine) is that since Michael is William’s son he looks so much like William that the ghost children think he looks like him even more than they did Jeremy A little fun (it’s not fun) fact Whenever golden freddy (aka Evan and Cassidy) appear in the office they say to Michael “It’s me” Which basically means that whenever Golden Freddy appears, Evan who is also the only one who would recognize Michael goes out of his way to tell his big brother that it’s him before him and Cassidy kill him They’re the only animatronic that won’t immediately kill you

26. Self indulgent hc time part 2 Because this is my powerpoint So we don’t know the canonical reason as to why Golden Freddy doesn’t kill Michael immediately It could be because they’re not as agile as the rest, it could be cause Evan wants to taunt Michael with the information that it’s him before killing him, it could be out of shock cause “holy shit that’s Michael! Hi Michael!! Oh wait nvm we’re supposed to kill him” My personal headcanon is that Evan does want to help Michael in his little investigation, which is why he says that it’s him. But Cassidy (who we learn much later is more ruthless and less patient) literally just wants to kill and Evan only manages to hold her back for a few seconds before she takes over and kills Michael But that’s only if the player isn’t quick enough and loses. Canonically Michael never gets killed by golden Freddy dw

27. The man behind the slaughter After Michaels first week of working at the restaurant he gets fired for tampering with the animatronics An undisclosed amount of time goes by and the restaurant shuts down This is where William pops back into the picture. He’s gotten wind of the fact that the children are actively trying to kill him and are possessed He doesn’t want ghost children after him and he also wants to continue to experiment with these possessions and so he decides to kill to birds with one stone and fix both problems

28. Purple bitchass William visits the shut down location in a purple Freddy suit ( probably one he made himself) and lures the animatronics out one by one and dismembers them He believes this will put some kind of end to them He also takes some parts from each animatronic and took them home with him and installed them into some other robots he was working on (Keep this in the back of your mind) Unfortunately for William, the dismembering does NOT work out in his favour With the children semi-released from the animatronics they all band together to confront him

29. Gamers rise up! The five children who were killed by William all corner him while one of them, I’d like to think Cassidy since she’s a lil more aggressive and vindictive, chases him down William, the genius he is, gets into a nearby spring bonnie suit, believing that it will protect him from the ghost children And since the old worn down building is really damp, the suit being really old, and genius William taking his sweet time to laugh at the ghosts at his amazing victory: The springs, unsurprisingly , lock This causes all of the springs and beams and mechanical stuff to impale him Lmao He rly lost the 1v5 Also you might notice that technically there are two of the spirits missing: Evan and Charlie This is because Charlie was left behind in the fnaf 2 location and Evan idk he prolly wanted to sit outside so he didn’t have to watch his dad die (even if he is a monster)

30. Grandpa is sealed into the musty walls of Freddy Fazbears After some more time passes, someone seals up all of the walls and shit in the old closed down Fazbear location Wonder who that could possibly be (That just had to have been Henry, right? Like who else would do that?? Who else has the control and management to tamper in a closed down location and would actively seal William inside but Henry) Tihi~ Henry noooooo

31. Fnaf 3 You know all of that we just talked about? Yeah we’re gonna fast forward 30 years A new location called Fazbear's Fright opens up It’s a haunted house inspired by Freddy Fazbear's and they need a nightguard which can only mean one thing Our boy Michael sniffs this job opportunity out like a hog with truffle and gets the job once again under the alias of Fritz Smith He rly likes that one it would seem During his work there he finds out that the company managed to find an extremely old and abandoned animatronic from one of the locations I wonder who that could be

32. Purple man is back Yeah unsurprisingly , it’s William, now going by Springtrap So Michael is basically hired to keep watch of Springtrap and make sure he doesn’t kill him Which like Has just gotta be awkward Like imagine you’re trying to investigate the deaths of your siblings and missing children and the disappearance of your father only to find your dad on the other side of the window of your office, literally trying to kill you Cause there’s no reason Springtrap doesn’t realize it’s Michael teh second he gets close enough, right??? Oh hello Mikey Uhm…….. Anyways, Michael being the king of avoiding awkward situations and nuclear revenge does the only logical thing in this situation

33. Burn baby burn He burns Fazbear's Fright down With his father still inside Lmao, eat shit old man Unfortunately , he does not eat shit. Instead, William somehow makes it out of the fire alive :/ It’s implied by later games that he told Michael where he could find his sister before they once again separated

34. The unexpected reappearance of sister location Remember how William sort of took pieces from all the animatronics? Yeah, he put them inside of the rental animatronics from Circus baby’s pizzeria… This means that the children have still not been released and are instead haunting the funtime animatronics Fast recap of who’s possessing who: We haven’t gotten like, canonical confirmation that these are accurate (except for Elizabeth) but it’s just easier to assume that it looks something like this

35. Role call!! Circus Baby Possessed by Elizabeth Afton Funtime Freddy Possessed by Gabriel (Freddy) And/Or possibly Cassidy + Evan BonBon Possessed by Jeremy (Bonnie) Funtime Foxy Possessed by Fritz (Foxy) And/Or possibly Cassidy + Evan Ballora Possessed by Susie (Chica) The reason I say possibly possessed by Cassidy and Evan for Funtime Freddy and Foxy is cause those two are the most aggressive between all of the funtime animatronics and I can’t really definitively place which animatronic Cassidy and Evan possess like the others But just know they’re somewhere in there

36. The not so unexpected re appearance of Michael And like a moth to a flame, the second this place opens for hire, Michael is there He once again gets a job, this time as a maintenance worker where he has to check on the animatronics and shock them in case they misbehave While he’s working there he gets into danger and is cornered, that’s when Circus Baby starts talking to him She tells him about a space under a desk where he can hide in order to not die He does as she says and indeed does not die. This, combined with the fact that he knows that his dead sister is possessing Circus Baby makes him trust her Baby manipulates Michael throughout the game, drip feeding him information about what is going on whilst leading him to the scooping room

37. Michael is a scoopful The scooping room is a room where the mechanical insides of the funtime animatronics get removed with the help of a giant metal scooper that, well, scoops all of their insides out All of the animatronics want to get out of the establishment, but anytime they try, they get discovered because they’re 2 meter tall robots So Baby comes up with a plan She believes that they could escape if they can look human. So when all of them have been scooped out, all of the animatronics combine into a metal amalgamation of all their insides called Ennard She’s telling all of this to Michael as he’s stuck inside the scooping room in front of the giant scooper that is on btw… So yeah

38. Whoopsie: Part 5

39. Michael is worn like a skin suit So yeah, the animatronic goes on with life wearing Michaels skin And it works For like 3 days

Then when his body reaches it’s breaking point, Michael vomits Ennard (aka all of the 5 dead children and Elizabeth) out and falls to the ground Then Michael’s dead body gets possessed by his own spirit and he’s alive again (but also still a walking corpse) Don’t ask me how it works Just roll with it

41. Elizabeth gets kicked out of the group Shortly after Ennard departs from Michaels dead body, Elizabeth is kicked out It could be because she’s the daughter of William but like, so is Evan and he's allowed so i personally think it’s more of the fact that she was closer to William. It’s been showed through dialogue in the game that she was a big daddy’s girl even after the whole murdering children thing Maybe she was a William apologist Either way she reconstructs herself out of her old Circus Baby parts and becomes Scrap baby

42. The unexpected return of Henry At this point there's just way too many animatronics running around The animatronics inside of Ennard decide to pull a Scrap Baby and try to assemble themselves to look like a functioning animatronic, they fail and result into a wiry mess called Molten Freddy Scrap Baby is just running around doing whatever Springtrap is also running around doing whatever (except he has the actual potential to be dangerous) Don’t even get me started on The Puppet (Charlie) cause like, we have no idea where she is or what she's doing This is when daddy Henry steps up and decide to put an end to this bullshit He creates a new Pizzeria location in order to lure all of the robots into one place He also hired Michael because of course he does Cue sad Henry and Mike reunion where Henry has to see Michael as a literal rotting corpse He also makes an animatronic called Lefty specifically made to trap The Puppet because he knows Charlie is too smart to be lured into an obvious trap This works and he manages to lure all of the animatronics (Springtrap, Scrap Baby, Molten Freddy and Lefty) with souls inside of them to the Pizzaria alongside Michael as the nightguard and himself

43. The greatest moment in the entire franchise All of this culminates into the grand moment of the sixth game Scrap Baby is speaking to Michael, talking about how he was a “gift” for the animatronics for them to do with as they please. Shes just about to kill Michael when Henry interrupts her over the speakers and delivers the best monologue in the entire game franchise

44. The end of the narrative At the end, Henry burns down the pizzeria with the 5 children, Evan, Elizabeth, William, Michael and himself inside, thereby releasing all of the animatronics souls and putting an end to this horrifying turn of events All of them die and it’s implied that they go to heaven (cause Scott is christian) and all of them get peace We get to see all of the dead children’s gravestones, with Cassidy’s being covered up while a 6th one is in the distance It’s still debated on whose gravestone this is. It could be Evan’s, it could be Charlie’s, it could even be Michael’s (but that’s less likely since it’s focusing on the dead children The main takeaway is that all of them are at peace now And isn’t that just a wonderful ending

45. Psyke! William also goes to hell We’re almost done I promise This one's more of a tidbit William canonically goes to hell lmao Yeah so after fnaf 6 Scott released a free game called ultimate custom night. Its a game where you can do a custom night with up to 50 animatronics and with a difficulty up to 20 And without going into too much detail, it’s been theorized that you play as William Afton in his own personal hell. Being forced to do this needless loop of death with all these animatronics taunting you whenever you die And it’s implied that Cassidy is the one carrying out this punishment. Which means she can’t move on and go to heaven until she stops, which might also mean that Evan is also stuck there :( But that’s not confirmed and all of this is loose theorizing That might be why both of their gravestones are obscured, cause they haven’t moved on like the rest of them But it could also just be Cassidy down there torturing peepaw Afton alone But hey, I believe at one point she does let go judging from some of the newer games, so I believe at this point she should be happy in heaven now
