The user has no contact with the ambient atmosphere, the equipment offers complete protection of the respiratory tracts during fire fighting operation or in industrial environment, either in a premises with a high level of toxic gas or where the oxygen content has fallen below 17% in volume.
PRINCIPLE
The air required for breathing is contained in one cylinder mounted vertically on a frame designed to assume the shape of the user’s back with the valves at the lower end. The compressed air is then de-compressed by means of a pressure reducer which in turn supplies air to a regulator. This
regulator is connected to the lower part of the mask, supplies air as required and adapts to the physiological requirements of the user. An audible warning whistle sounds an alarm when the cylinder pressure drops to a dangerous level and a supply of few minutes of air is left.
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Capacity of Cylinder – 1200/1800 ltrs. (Air) at 200 bar.
2. Reduced Pressure at demand valve (After Ist stage) 4/5 bar (preset).
3. Weight of unit – 12.5/14 KG. (approx) Duration of working – 30/45 minutes
4. Audio – alarm system – pre-adjusted when 5-7 minutes of supply remain.
5. Back plate – light weight FRP.
