Bacterial incubator DEFINITIONS: It is a device used to grow and maintain the bacterial cultures. It was discovered by Jean baptiste porta scientist form ancient Egypt in 16 th century.

Working of bacterial incubator The principle of working is ‘THERMO ELECTRICITY’. The incubator as thermostat which maintains constant temperature. When any conductor is subjected to a thermal gradient it creates voltage called as thermo electric effect. PARTS: Timer. * Thermostat. Temperature indicator. * Control panel. Power indicator. * HEPA filters. Containers. Etc. * L shape thermometer. * Asbestos door gasket.

Bacteriological incubator contents: Desirable temperature> 30-35 degree celcius . It can be occurs only heating system. External environment is independent. Temperature range is > 10-60 degree celcius . Uses grow only bacteria.
