Bad Cinderella is a 2021 musical that ran on Broadway for 12 months and abruptly shut down. ALW actually had a little controversy at the end because hd didn't show up to the last show and instead wrote a letter for the stars to read after taking their bows. The show received mostly bad reviews,

similar to The Heist at the Ball by J.M. Knight, which is a book very similar about a boy who wants to rob a castle and make money for his girl. It's also a cinderella story but instead of her being the main character it's her love interest. There was bad reception for this too. Thought it would be funny to compare.

Knight famous musical & music playwright child prodigy and net worth of $750 million has written 2 books and 21 musicals from london, united kingdom no awards has a famous grandfather (James Meredith) has written 2 books and 5 musicals from mississippi, USA books usually get bad/mid criticism and controversy rumored (not confirmed) to write under the pen name Persephone Parsons (on the EK forums)

PLOT Bad Cinderella The Heist at the Ball Typical Cinderella adaption except its set in a town where literally everyone looks like Kim Kardahsian except the main character ✅ ENDGAME FUFILLED & they live happily every after Innocent (mc) comes up with a plan to rob the ball so he can take the girl he likes (Cinderella) off to another country Convoluted plot where most of the book doesn’t take place during a heist but on the road while the couple looks for items to do the heist with ❌ ENDGAME FAILED & he breaks up with cinderella at the end of the book (he hates it) kinda cliffhanger ending because she makes the whole castle fall in love with her instead of doing the heist as planned (magic)
