BRIEF OVERVIEW OF MOVIES 03 "Lagaan" is a 2001 Indian movie set during British rule. It's about a village that challenges British officers to a cricket match to avoid heavy taxes. Led by Bhuvan (Amir khan), the villagers train hard despite knowing little about cricket. The film shows unity, perseverance, and hope in the face of oppression. BHAGAT SINGH : LEGENDARY WARRIOR 06 1). Smart Thinking: Bhagat Singh was very smart and had clear ideas about what he wanted. He discussed and debated with his friends to come up with their plan to fight against British rule. 2). Liked by People: Even though he was young, many people in Punjab liked Bhagat Singh and supported him. Sometimes, he was even more popular than Gandhi. This shows he could connect with people and inspire them to join the fight for freedom. 3). Brave and Bold: Bhagat Singh showed a lot of courage by doing things that were dangerous, like attacking British officials. Even when he faced the death penalty, he stayed strong and didn't back down. 4). Organized: Bhagat Singh helped start a group called the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army. He was good at bringing together people from different places to work towards the same goal. 5). Thinking Ahead: Bhagat Singh and his friends didn't just do things randomly.
