Meenakshi Temple Madurai, Panch Ratha Temple Mammalapuram, etc.

Century, whole North India came under influence of a social Unification.
• It was the age when Brahmanical Hinduism, Islam, Sufism, Nathpanth, Yogis and Siddhas influenced
each other.
• All
part of society loved to listen these saints and followed their Philosophy and Ideologies.
• This
movement shown some sign beyond castism and untouchability. So, this movement has uplifted
the thinking approach towards history in Modern Society.
• This
movement has enriched the local literature and language as well.

• He born in Keral in 8

century AD and died at very early age of 32
years.
• He was advocator
of Advaita Vedanta or Philosophy, it means Doctrine
of oneness of God or Supreme God, which is ultimate reality.
• Brahma is ultimate reality
• Established
four major Pilgrimage Centres on each direction.
North -Badrinath Dhaam
West -Dwarika-puri East -Shri Jagannath Puri
South -Sringen Sharda Dhaam

• He was a great saint of Niraguna branch of Bhakti.
• Ramanand
was his guru.
• He was a great social and religious
reformer

knowledge from company of sages and Sufi saints.
• He composed
Dohas, Kabir IBijak, Anurag Sagar, Kabir Bani, Kabir Granthawali, etc.

• Name of his father was Atmaram Dubey and mother Hulsi Devi.
• Naraharidasa
was his Guru.
• He was a great Saint
of Ramanandi Sampradaya of Sagun branch of Bhakti
• He has composed Ramacharitmanas, Hanuman Chalisa, Vinay Patrika, Geetawali, etc.
in Awadhi language

He was a great Saint of Krishna Sampradaya of Sagun branch of Bhakti.
He was blind since birth. So, he named as Sur means blind.
He has composed
Sur Sagar, Sur Saravali, Sahitya Lahari in Braj Language.
