Teaser Sicily PV Solar Plant 40+ MW Site Description The site is located within the Province of Ragusa, ( Comune di Acate ) South of Italy. The site is currently disused. The Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) for the centre of the site is 37° 3'24.75"N 14°29'14.26"E, The site is broadly rectangular in outline. The total extension of the plot of land is about 120 ha. To the north, south, east, and west the site is bounded by rural land layout. The site is readily accessible. There does not appear to be any public right of way through the site.. From an initial geomorphological assessment, the area does not present any criticality linked to high slopes or linked to forms of instability A High Voltage power transmission line exists within 8km from the site, The climate of the area can be classified as: Cs: warm temperate with dry summer – Mediterranean.
